With more than 30 years of experience, my clients appreciate my knowledge of tax and regulatory issues and my practical approach to meeting their challenges. They depend on me to provide creative solutions that are in their best interests. I’ve helped many clients manage issues related to regulatory matters and complex or emerging accounting issues, capital formation and preservation, rising healthcare costs, mortgage servicing accounting and administration issues, and growth/expansion opportunities.
When I started my career at Plante Moran, we didn’t have a mortgage banking practice. I’m proud that I’ve worked with other partners to develop this niche service area, which has allowed us to broaden our team’s skill set and enabled us to serve many different types of financial service companies.
Because of my industry expertise, I’m often asked to speak at state and national industry group meetings. Recently, I was an “Ask the Auditor” panelist at the annual Mortgage Bankers Association’s Accounting and Finance Conference. I’m a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, the MICPA, and the AICPA. I have an accounting degree from Wayne State University.
